In the beginning seeking out information about the many options on wings and motors from experienced PPG pilots, I started a data base comparing thrust to weight ratios as well as units that performed well. Being a multi engine pilot, I had no interest in having inflight motor outs.

I have been an Aerolight customer for over a year now and must say I have never experienced such excellent paragliding knowledge of flying, parts, motors, accessories and service.  There is always a prompt callback if I leave a message and I get my parts in one day!  The last part I bought was a new prop, and we all know that the weather is perfect when you're motor is down.  I got it in one day and was flying right away!  They have one of the largest inventory supplies I have ever seen and can and have serviced every aspect of paragliding.  First class service and technology is a VERY rare thing today and Aerolight is definitely number one the best in my book!

Having owned different Paramotor units in the last 4 years I have become aware that these units are not perfect and need attention, parts and service from time to time. It has been on these occasions that the true difference between manufactures is noticed. Jose and Javier from Aerolight have always been generous with their time and experience in resolving issues I have had with their unit. Replacement parts were always available and quickly delivered. Unit exhaust upgrades were promptly sent to me. When a crack appeared in the crankcase, they immediately insisted on having the entire unit shipped to their location where the matter was rectified in a satisfactory manner and without cost. Since I started paramotoring about 6 years ago I have continued to do business with Aerolight based on there ethical business practices and excellent customer service. I purchased my first motor, a Fly Power 115, from Aerolight when I first started paramotoring and I purchased a Fly Power Flash about 6 months ago. Although the Power 115 was virtually trouble free, there have been minor problems (exhaust leak, radiator leak) with the Power Flash that have required repair under the warranty. Every time I have called Aerolight with an issue they have always fixed the problem right away. Originally when I purchased the unit I lived in South Florida, so I could take it to their Miami location and the unit would be repaired in a couple of days. Now that I live in Tampa, when I have had problems, I have requested that they ship me the parts so that I could perform the repairs myself. They have agreed to my requests and I receive the parts within 1 or 2 days. In summary it is these experiences that have made me a loyal Aerolight customer and I will continue doing business with them in the future.

Aerolight, just dropping you a line thanking you for all your support. When i decided to give ppg a try my good friend Doug Shows had been doing this sport for about 3 years. We had a talk and his advice was mostly about service service service, and efficiency to receive parts as needed. After being around some other ppg folks I began to see what he was talking about. You and Javier have been first class business folks, yall say what your going to do and do what you say. I have found your service impeckable and also good too. The power gold 130 has preformed very well ,it has some kick butt power when needed just as Doug said. The only problem with this unit is it doesn't perform well under water, well that's what Doug says anyway, I have not tried that yet . Oh, do you offer a snorkel kit? Seriously yalls service has been first class it really has been a pleasure.Oh by the way I thought a box of CUBANS came with each unit sold. Iam  going to be looking for another unit soon do you know where I can purchase one. THANKS AGAIN !!

When Jason Williams, of JWM Productions, a producer for the History Channel, called me in the Spring of 2004, about including powered paragliding in the series premier of Digging For The Truth with host, Josh Bernstein, I volunteered immediately to demonstrate what a PPG could accomplish in shooting exciting video.
The location was Chaco Canyon and the surrounding area in New Mexico.  The former home of the ancient Anasazi Indians.  Foot launching at over 5000 feet with a really big camera, a bottle of water and my gear would be a challenge for any PPG.  Thankfully, I owned a Fly Gold 130 with a 28 horse power Simonini engine.  I had no problem getting into the air and proving that I could acquire footage that would be impossible to get with the faster, more expensive aircraft typically used in these situations.
Jason, Josh and the entire crew were ecstatic about the results and since then I've been invited to other shoots with Josh, including the Cahokia Indian Mounds and the Lost Colony of Roanoke.  Who knows where this will all lead in the future?  I'm hoping to be included in some future international location.  Only time will tell.
Since then, I've purchased the Fly Products Flash Trike.  The Fly Gold 130 has no problem flying my wife, Jeanie, and I with lunch, a camera, and a picnic blanket.  Our favorite flights are sunset flights.  Usually, if the air is flyable an hour before sunset, it will only get better and better, smoother and smoother, until lack of light forces us to land.  Jeanie, calls the trike "our motorcycle" because we do a lot of very slow and low flying, following old trails and jeep roads, chasing coyotes and exploring valleys and saddles.  We feel perfectly safe knowing we can land easily any time.
Notice the wheels are not stock.  We do a lot of beach flying, too.  So, we added Roll Eze sand tires to make tandem take offs easier.  We've discovered since then, they also make very soft landings and can roll over brush and rocks with ease.  Because of this, we've been able to land in places that we'd otherwise pass up.
I can honestly recommend the Fly Products Fly Gold 130 and Flash Trike to anyone who needs power and convenience.  I've personally flown this trike to over 12,500 ft after launching from 9200 ft. at our ranch in Colorado.

Besides selling what I believe are the best products, the most important thing I can say is that they are not going to try to sell you something just because. They care about the customer, trying to understand the needs and specifics.

Thanks for all the help over the last 5 years with the FLY Products and APCO Aviation products. Javier and you have been available every time I've called either for some technical help, parts or general discussion of the sport.
All of those times we have seen each other either at the PPG conventions or Sun n Fun you have always been a gracious host and have always made time to sit down and chat for a few minutes.
Those times I have ordered from you (props, spark plugs, netting, carburetor kits and etc.) you have always had the parts readily available and in the mail to me if not the same day I called, surely the following day.
In all of our business dealings I have always felt that you have had my best interest in mind.
When the crankcase on the Simonini developed a crack you were right there helping resolve the problem. At the convention last spring you suggested that I should think about updating my Power Gold 115 with the new exhaust system. You took the time to explain what was involved and the results it would have. Not once did you pressure me to make a decision.
Needless to say the upgrade has made a difference and your prompt attention in handling the upgrade and the replacement of the engine housing put me back in the sky within a week or so.
For anyone interested in the sport of PPG they need not look any further than Aerolight and Javier and you.
Look at the awards you have earned over the last few years, you can't buy them - you earn them. So keep up the great work and again thanks for the great service but more important thanks for being a friend.

After purchasing an used FLY Products Power Gold 130 paramotor, to meet the power demands of high altitude Colorado , I contacted Aerolight for carburetor information via email. The response I received to my carburetor setting questions, even though I was not one of their customers, was fast and accurate. It was great to get insight from experience professionals that solved my setting problems and put me in the air with my old Elle 34 wing. The added power of the Simonini was a welcome improvement from the Solo 210 I had been flying for four years.
I first met Jose and Javier, in person, at the 2005 Arizona fly-in. I was there to test out and purchase a new wing. The PowerPlay Sting 140 won hands down; ground handling, flight characteristics and speed were noticeably better than my second choice, the Muse 30. Jose and Javier let me spend as much time as I wanted, with no sales pressure, to make up my mind. They gave me a fair price and I was satisfied with my purchase and the advice they provided. My FLY Products Power Gold 130 and PowerPlay Sting 140 make a great flying system and has provided me with many great relaxing flights.
