Testimonials

Aerolight offers Powered Paragliding training year round. Although we are headquartered in Miami, Florida, we can arrange for instruction nationwide.

There are two types of Powered Paragliding launching techniques ... foot-launch and trike-launch / quad-launch.

Powered Paragliding foot-launch training requires more time and student must be in decent to good physical condition because take-offs are performed by running with a paramotor on student's back. The weight of the paramotor (average 55 lbs.) gets lighter as soon as the paraglider is inflated and begins creating lift, nevertheless, the student must carry part of that weight during the launching and landing procedures. The average training time is typically 5-8 days.

Powered Paragliding FOOT-LAUNCH basic course ($1,200.00 with purchase of equipment)

Powered Paragliding FOOT-LAUNCH advanced course ($350.00 daily after basic course)

Powered Paragliding trike-launch (3 wheels) or quad-launch (4 wheels) training is simpler, safer and faster. Student is not carrying the weight of the equipment because he/she is sitting on a harness which is attached to the trike's or quad's frame. The average training time is typically 1-2 days.

Powered Paragliding TRIKE / QUAD-LAUNCH course ($495.00 up to 1st solo flight)

We work closely with the most recognized schools and instructors thorough the country to ensure you are getting the best instruction offered.

Our professional instructors are certified through any or all of the following associations USPPA (United States Powered Paragliding Association), USHPA (United States Hang Gliding & Paragliding Assn.) and ASC (Aero Sports Connection).

We offer immersion training programs for new pilots who want to learn this exciting and complex sport thoroughly, as well as advanced training for pilots who want to improve their flying skills.
